At last, some good news to celebrate in our churches following the Government's announcement last week we can finally return to worshipping with choirs and enjoy live music at life events.

Our national recovery group have issued updated guidance covering activities in churches, please do check all the latest documentation.

Next weekend, Sunday 29th August marks the start of Bishop Richard's prayer pilgrimage, further details of this are available online. Please do join him in prayer for our Diocese and read how you can engage with generous giving. We will be releasing more information and details over the coming weeks to support you. Guidance and Information

Updated guidance on Life events

It is now permissible for both professional and non-professional singers and musicians to perform in small groups to people inside and outside of buildings in line with the recommendations for physical distancing and hygiene set out by the Government in their performing arts guidance.

Singing in Church

Following the government announcement last week, providing adequate distancing can be achieved, a small choir may sing during worship. Please see guidance on public worship for more information.

Alpha online

Places are still available if you'd like to join us for Alpha Online. This is a great way to ask those big questions about life. More information and details online. Please do share and encourage people to register.

CPAS online training for PCCs

Thursday 8 October CPAS are providing a training event for you and your PCC.

The event is an online event to clarify the purpose and place of PCCs and explore some common dysfunctions.

You will also be introduced to material you can use to help shape the life of your PCC back at church, including guides on how to do a PCC meeting on Zoom.
