Church Response to California Fires
 The board is collecting a special offering for the Disaster Relief Fund at our NCN District, which will activate funds to distribution sites and volunteers in our devastated areas. Please pray for safety and care for the communities that are being impacted by the wildfires and for strength and comfort for those fighting the blazes or mourning their losses.

All Church Prayer Night, Tuesday, August 25, 8:00 pm: Please set aside this time to pray for our church and to seek God as one body (no need for video conferencing). A separate email of prayer needs will be sent out by Tuesday.
Pereira/Sung Family: Mr. Gustavo Pereira, Paul’s father, passed away on August 7, 2020. Please pray for Paul, Regina, Matthew and Luke, and the Pereira family during this difficult time.

 Praise Spotlight
A heartfelt shout out to Hui Nam Cheung and Jay Ou on the Chinese side! Since the first live streaming of Sunday Services on March 15, they have been working diligently behind the scenes to bring them to us every Sunday morning. And yes, the summer family retreat services, worship, and prayer time too. What a seamless piece of work! While we are blessed by having the services delivered into our homes, let us not forget the tremendous efforts by the IT team to make them happen. Let us put our hands together and give the entire IT team a round of applause!
