Join the Bryan Cultural Series and the Dare County Arts Council as we welcome the 6th Annual Surf and Sounds Chamber Music Series to the Outer Banks for two online performances on Tuesday August 25 and Friday August 28. The performances will be carried live on the Dare County Arts Council Facebook page. Both performances begin at 8:00 p.m. you do not need a Facebook account to view the performance. Featuring Katie Hyun and Liz Vonderheide on violin, Luke Fleming, viola and Music Director Jake Fowler, cello, the quartet’s musical selections range from lesser known but compelling works, to modern masters and some of the finest compositions in classical music.
With international reputations for their artistry, the musicians of the Surf and Sounds Chamber Music Quartet will create an evening extraordinary music. The performance will highlight how classical music has evolved over the past 250 years with selections from Beethoven, Dvorak and Debussy.
