Sunday Service and this Week's Devotionals
if...then... Seeking God for Revival

This week during our 11 AM online live service, we invite you to join us as we continue our new sermon series, "if...then... Seeking God for Revival," based on the passage, 2 Chronicles 7:14.  This week's sermon addresses the part of the verse that says, If My people "...will Pray and Seek My Face," our Founding Pastor Bill Dwyer.

Our kids also have an online Sunday service of their own at 10 AM on Facebook and YouTube.

Continuing on the theme of  "if...then... Seeking God for Revival," be with us Monday through Friday, August 24-28, at 9 AM, for our Daily Devotionals. We hope that you can take advantage of hearing and meditating on the Word of God daily.

Please go to https://vvinfo.org/fb and www.vvinfo.org/YouTube.

Jubilee Tutoring Center's Great News!
Our Jubilee afterschool mentoring program started this past week, and glory to God, we have 14 students! Jubilee needs tutors to help via Zoom. It is an excellent holistic ministry that comes around the child and the child’s family.  You can volunteer and bless a child one hour or a few hours a week.  For more info, email Jacquelyn Mendoza for information or to volunteer:   jubillee@valleyvineyard.org

Moms In Prayer with Donna Tucker
Ladies, although this group began last week, feel free to jump in anytime, but we encourage you to look at the website first so you can easily follow the format.  Please let Donna know if you'll be joining the group.

There are things in this world that can appear more enticing to our kids and grandkids than the things of God.  They face many challenges, anxieties, temptations, and distractions.  As moms who deeply care for the well-being of our kids, we believe there is power in praying and personalizing the promises of God in scripture. This group is a safe place where we can lift up our kids to the Lord and is based off of the long-standing Moms in Prayer International approach to prayer: adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication.  We will meet via Zoom Wednesday mornings from 9 AM-10 AM beginning August 19th through October 7th. For moms, grandmas, aunts, and godmothers of young AND/OR adult kids.

Keep Your Love On with the Keenans
Couples, join us anytime during this weekly group.  Make sure to get your copies of the book and workbook before we meet.   If you'll be joining the group, please email Dan and let him know.

Join Dan and Michelle Keenan as we read through a book by Danny Silk titled Keep Your Love On.  The focus of the book is connecting with your spouse moment by moment.  This book talks about the bad habits that can take root in our hearts and marriages that cause us to grow apart from our spouse rather than being drawn together.  This connection is something for which we all long and are sometimes surprised when we find ourselves feeling alone.  We hope to grow together as couples, Christians, and friends as we read, connect, and share our lives with one another. We will meet Wednesday evenings at 7 PM via Zoom starting August 19th.  Please purchase both the book Keep Your Love On, and the KYLO workbook and plan to read the first chapter and complete the exercises in the workbook before the first meeting.

Please note:  This weekly food pantry is intended to help with food supplies for those impacted by the COVID pandemic and resulting economic fallout.  We plan to remain open every Thursday until the crisis is past and the need has been met.

Manna Ministry
Manna Food Bank continues to operate on Saturdays and also welcomes donations of nonperishable food items: pasta, pasta sauce, boxed macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, canned veggies, canned fruit, canned meats, cereal, nonperishable milk, etc.  You can drop these off during office hours, Tuesday - Friday, 10 AM-3 PM.

VV Helping Hand Fund
We’ve setup a Helping Hand Fund to help those in our church community that are struggling through this pandemic and to help fund our outreach of extending the love of God to our neighbors.  If you feel led to contribute to this new fund, please do so above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings.  In Zelle, by text, on our app, or on our website, you can add a note for this ministry.  If you're writing a check, you can write Helping Hand Fund or Drive-Through Pantry in the memo.

Zoom Virtual Connect Groups
There's a Zoom group for you!  Check out our many weekly Zoom Connect Groups throughout the week. We want to encourage you to go against the natural tendency to withdraw during a crisis.  We need each other.  You will see life when you seek to connect with God and His Body. And there's something about seeing each other's smiling faces--no masks needed! Go to vvinfo.org/vgroups to see the different groups available.
