World Spice is proud to be a virtual stop on this year's Harry Potter Scavenger Hunt hosted by our friends at HP Trivia Seattle. The new virtual format means you can participate from ANYWHERE! Find magic when you previously saw the mundane!

HOW IT WORKS

1. Register. You get your ticket and register as part of a team on Eventbrite. (Team name required. Team chant, mascot, uniform, and/or secret handshake highly recommended.)

2. Plan. At 6 PM Pacific on Friday, August 21st, we'll send you the list of challenges and the scavenging will begin! We strongly recommend that you take a little time at the start to plan your strategy with your team and collect any materials you need to complete the challenges.

3. Scavenge! You'll have until 6 PM Pacific on August 22nd to submit responses to as many challenges as you can. Challenges will vary in difficulty and points, and may include trivia, puzzles, photo/video assignments, and more.

4. Celebrate. Congratulate yourself (at home) for your scavenging with a Butterbeer and some wizard rock while we confirm the final points. We'll announce the winners by email and on social media on Sunday, August 23rd.

Just like Hermione Granger, we paid attention in potions class! Tart and tangy rhubarb has a fruity aftertaste that you would expect from candy, so we combined it with ambrosial Grains of Paradise. The spice is peppery and spicy like ginger, although it has a floral quality that keeps evolving. The smell of Grains of Paradise will remind you of cardamom. The flavors combined make for an uplifting and tasty summer beverage.
