Duke Global Course Development Program
The new program supports faculty wishing to collaborate with peers at institutions abroad to co-create graduate courses or course modules delivered virtually. Supported grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded. The deadline to apply is September 18.
Opportunities for Sophomores and Juniors Learn more about an assortment of opportunities for sophomores and juniors from the Office of University Scholars and Fellows. The virtual meeting on Wednesday, September 30 will be especially useful for those interested in public service, environmental advocacy, Native American advocacy, research science or graduate study in the social sciences and humanities. Luce Scholars Program Apply for a work placement in Asia, available to aspiring American leaders in all fields with limited knowledge of Asia. Campus deadline is September 28.
Who are Asians? A Learning Group Join the International House, Center for Multicultural Affairs and the Center for Muslim Life in building a space of connection, exploration and solidarity among Asian and Asian Pacific Islander students. The monthly learning group will connect personal experiences to histories of racial construction in order to explore and disrupt Asian identity across the world. In fall 2020, the group will meet online on September 8, October 13 and November 10. Register here.
