Kolton is 9 and has Muscular Dystrophy, and he is....

The first kid ever to try to XS!

XS (access) is for taller kids and smaller adults

Three years ago, Kolton saw the Alinker and wanted one so bad, but we hadn't developed the XS yet. Kolton is now 9 years old and lives with muscular dystrophy. It took some time developing the XS, because I needed the headspace, time, funds and production design partner....

Now, 3 years later, we are Steppin' UP! The XS is here and Karen from Liquid Gym Canada arranged a meeting with Kolton in Ottawa.

Kolton is the first kid to try this XS! Seeing how much progress he made in just half an hour did something to me. Over the years, I have witnessed how the Alinker has changed so many lives, and the profound impact on entire families.... but yesterday was different....

Kolton is growing, and as he grows, his muscles lengthen which increases the loss of his muscle mass. So for kids to be active and able to move as they grow is more than essential, it is life-saving.

As the founder and inventor, I have been doing this now for some years, but on this day, seeing Kolton finally trying an Alinker his size, it was as if I felt it all for the first time. When I drove home, I cried for a long time... so much release... realizing how this will change so many kids' lives, in the crucial growth time of their lives, with a whole life ahead of them....

The XS (access)

The XS will be suitable for people with inseam between 22" and 27" (roughly 9 years old and up), Maximum weight capacity unknown yet.

We are anticipating to launch the pre-sales campaign for the XS Alinker, during the month of October 2020, which is Disability Awareness month. We'll run campaigns in Europe, North America and Japan. The campaigns will have some special deals for the Early Birds.
