Das Gelände in der Wissmannstr. 32 öffnet wieder für das Publikum: Oyoun präsentiert den kuratorischen Schwerpunkt Embodied Temporalities und vieles mehr.

6 Monate nach der Eröffnung und anschließenden coronabedingten Schließung am 14.03.2020 freuen wir uns, das bisher überwiegend online präsentierte Programm nun auch im Haus vor Publikum umsetzen zu dürfen: das 10-tägige Festival “Kartografien des Affektes - im queer und jetzt”, dasSoura Film Festival- und vor allem den ersten der jeweils halbjährlichen kuratorischen Schwerpunkte, die der Umsetzung künstlerischer Recherche und Wissensproduktion dienen, vorzustellen:
Der neue kuratorische Schwerpunkt des Oyoun beschäftigt sich mit verkörperten Erinnerungen und Identitäten aus diasporischen und geschlechterkritischen Perspektiven. Den Anfang macht eine 5-wöchige Workshop- und Podcastreihe und der Darstellung dieser Prozesse als Performative Ceremony

6 months after the opening and closing on March 14th, 2020 we are especially excited to welcome you in the physical space and present to you the current and upcoming programmes as well as our new curatorial focus: a 10-day festival celebrating and mapping queer history and presence "Cartographies of Affect- In the Queer and Now", the queer MENA Soura Film Festival as well as the first curatorial focus:
“Embodied Temporalities”- enacting cultural identity
Based on years of artistic research and production, the program sets to investigate the embodied memories and identities through diasporic and gender-critical perspectives. The body emerges as a changing relationship and at the same time unfolds as an ethical horizon and challenge for the (un)making of the self, identity, and belonging. “Embodied Temporalities’ will unravel the possibilities by the means of the language of art while exploring and diversifying collaborations through intersectional, anti-fascist, and decolonial perspectives through antidisciplinary programmes including a research-based performance ceremony a n c e s t r a l b o d y n o i s eand more.
