The God who is Love
We welcome everyone to join our parish summer faith formation series. Session VI will be this Tuesday August 25 at 7:00 pm. For all of those who have been attending our previous sessions note that we are starting 30 minutes earlier than usual. You do not have to have seen any of the previous videos to join in this session.
In this session, Bishop Barron tries to explain the mystery of the Trinity, One God in three divine persons.
This is a difficult concept for us to understand. He uses some of the great Catholic theologian's, St. Aquinas and St. Augustine, reflections to explain it. He builds on basic teaching that
- God is Love
- The trinity is three divine persons that define what love is.
- One God, three persons
- The Father is God
- The Son is God
- The Holy Spirit is God
This is the last session of our 6 part summer series. Please join us. Everyone is welcome.
Because of the Covid-19 restrictions, we will do this online using Zoom. Information you need to join the Zoom meeting is below.
