There is alot to talk about this week. First off, long time RPV 1st Vice Chair Mike Thomas announced this past weekend that he would be stepping down. While Mr. Thomas and I have long held philosophical differences about how a Party should be run, and that Mr. Thomas is largely responsible for much of the dysfunction in RPV over the past few years, the fact is that he is to be thanked for his many years of service. Good luck to Mr. Thomas in all things.
Some of the latest from Richmond. Senate Democrats last week introduced SB 5034, which would retroactively reduce the sentences for those convicted of child pornography, and those who are convicted 3x of domestic violence. So much from the party that calls themselves protectors of children and women.
Liberal courts dealt us a blow this past week. Seems that those requesting an absentee ballot/mail-in ballot won't need a witness signature. The leftists can't win elections fairly, so they try to steal them. Read more here:
Time is running out - we need people to be knocking doors on behalf of Donald Trump and Daniel Gade and Ben Cline. Also on behalf of local candidates as well. Roanoke City has 2 great City Council candidates you can support - Maynard Keller and Peg Maguire. Front Royal has their Town elections also come this November.
