✏️Welcome back to school Maercker Wildcats! The PTA has been hard at work making plans for this coming year to help our families stay connected and have fun. Yesterday everyone should have been given a folder from your teacher created especially for you by the PTA (looks like the picture below). You can use it as a place mat, privacy folder, or reference it for info on the PTA. Feel free to write a quick note for your student to read in the morning on the dry erase notes space!
✏️Inside the folder you will find lots of great information for you about membership, spirit wear, benefit nights, our meeting schedule, volunteering and ways that you can support the PTA starting today. Membership
By joining the PTA, you help us meet our school's needs that fall outside the scope of their budget. Joining the PTA does not mean that you have to volunteer. There are many ways that one can support our efforts, and your membership is one of them. For more information about membership please visit our website and sign up today.

Kindergarten & New Parent Night
Parents of Kindergartners, and of students new to the district, are invited to join the PTA this Thursday night on Google Meet at 7:00 PM. An RSVP is required to participate. On Thursday morning a link will be emailed to participants to join the meeting. Come meet some PTA board members, hear about our plans for this year, and learn about ways that we plan to help families stay connected in this unusual year.

Benefit Night - Chipotle
Every month the PTA partners with a local establishment to raise money for both the restaurant and Maercker PTA. Our first benefit night of the 2020-21 school year is at Chipotle in Willowbrook on Tuesday, Sept. 8th from 4:00-8:00 pm! Present the flyer below at checkout and Maercker PTA will receive 33% of the proceeds. There's also instructions on how to download and use the Chipotle app to order online.
