Get Moving Online exercise class - Monday 11am September 14  - October 12 2020
About this event
Join Michelle and Claire for our live Get Moving weekly exercise session for Older Adults.

Claire will take you through a 45 min low impact strength and movement session to keep your body moving, using simple routines, stretches to improve strength and bone health.
Exercises are designed for people of all abilities.

IMPORTANT: These sessions will be run using Zoom. You will need an internet-connected device to participate. An event link will be emailed to you closer to the session.    
Get Moving Online Community Workshops - Starts Thursday 17 September 11am
On Thursdays at 11am join Michelle McAuley online with special guests for our 6 week series of fun and engaging workshops for older adults . In these free sessions, you will learn new skills and gain tips for staying healthy and active through the years while connecting with others online.

  • Sep 17 - Connecting with others and looking after yourself - Interactive workshop in setting goals to develop a plan to stay connected and active.
  • Sep 24 - Physical Activity: Why it's so important for older adults - Guest speakers Exercise Physiologists from Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre
  • Oct 1 - Men's Health - Guest speaker Peter Strange from Bendigo Community Health - Men's Clinic
  • Oct 8 - Active Ageing through Gardening - Guest speaker Richard Rowe from Sustainable Gardening Australia
  • Oct 15 - Seniors Week - Virtual Morning Tea & Cooking Tutorial with Healthy Heart of Victoria
  • Oct 22 - Music, Singing & Dance - how it is so good for the mind, body and soul

For more information and to book your free IT support program please contact the Home Support office on 4408 6560. We can arrange to have an IT support person come to you and help you navigate the online world.
