This webpage was designed to provide resources that build upon the natural learning opportunities that occur within a child’s daily routine in the home. The resources contained in this site, provide encouragement, and tools to families and caregivers in supporting the literacy and numeracy development as well as the health and well-being of the children in their care.

The Ohio Department of Education uses a Statewide System of Support (SSOS)- state, regional, district- to create a single unified system that can meaningfully build the capacity of every district to move all children to higher levels of academic achievement. State Support Team (SST), Region 11, is one of Ohio’s 16 regional SSTs using a connected set of tools to Improve instructional practice and student performance using a continuous improvement framework.
SST works closely with the Ohio Department of Educations offices for Innovation and Improvement, Exceptional Children, Early Learning and School Readiness, Approaches to Teaching and Learning and Integrated Student Supports. SST 11 provides professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to school districts, educational service centers, community schools, and early childhood programs in Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, Union counties, as well as Chillicothe City Schools- located in Ross County.
