Saturday 12 Sept. MOBY DICK 7:45pm Our first film will be the 1956 classic Moby Dick starring Gregory Peck, Richard Basehart, and Orson Wells. Director John Houston’s version is considered to be the most authentic in terms of “whalecraft” and while fairly faithful to the Herman Melville story there are one or two liberties inserted by screenwriter Ray Bradbury of “Fahrenheit 451” fame. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this pre-CGI rousing adventure of the sea. Rated G. Show time approximately 7:45 pm

In October we will turn abit darker with the 1957 film Abandon Ship. What decisions must be made when 26 people occupy a lifeboat made for 13? Unrated but probably not for pre-teens viewers due to the somewhat disturbing theme. Show time 17 October at time 7 pm.
Saturday 24 October HALLOWEEN ASSORTMENT 6:30 pm
The film series will culminate on October 24th with a bonfire and a family friendly Halloween trio of Charlie Brown’s The Great Pumpkin, Disney’s Hocus Pocus, and the MGM classic The Wizard of Oz. Show time will be at 6:30 pm. Camping optional.
For all film events you will need a mask. Bring your own chair, popcorn bowl and beverage.
