Fall Virtual Programming
Through the Fall, our virtual programming will still continue with Take & Make activity bags. We have increased the goodies inside of the Take & Make bags to include more educational material. This weekly newsletter is filled with materials to add to your educational toolbox, as well as incorporating fun!
Family Saturday STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) activity bags. These separate STEAM bags are geared toward school-aged learners.
Pickup for both the Kids Take & Make bags and the STEAM Saturday bags are on Fridays from 3:00-5:00, on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last.
Books are available from the library through contactless pickup, and eBooks are available through our digital library resources.
*Mind-in-the-Making Bags are available for checkout as well. These bags consist of non-fiction DVD's, song CD's, picture books, activity sheets and an activity to accompany the theme of the bag. Contact Emily at elapierre@clamsnet.org to learn more and request your bag!
NEW! Backyard Book Browsing! Weather permitting, library patrons will have an opportunity to browse and checkout a selection of new books outdoors in the courtyard behind the library. By appointment only -- to participate, please register and the library will contact you to confirm arrival time.
For available dates, please visit our Online Event Calendar
Entry will be by the path behind the building from Greenwood Avenue. Participants will be required to wear a mask, sanitize hands prior to browsing, practice social distancing, and refrain from handling books they do not intend to check out. Browsing may be limited to 15 minutes per person.
There will be no building access, and book selection will be limited to items in the courtyard area. (If you are looking for a particular item, please call the library to arrange for contactless pickup during our scheduled daily pickup hours.)
