From the Desk of Dr. Tucker
Dear Parents,
I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather. We are! The students have been outside for P. E. and recess today and are enjoying the cool down.
As other schools have opened to in-person classes this week, I am so thankful we have been here for two weeks working through some of the ‘glitches’ and were able to begin this week with more stability and routine. I have been able to be in classes and with students, and it is obvious they are enjoying being with their friends and are now getting into their new normal of school.
We are still working on a few things such as chapel and rainy-day dismissal. Thank you for your patience as we tweak and make necessary changes. Hopefully, we will continue to improve in all areas.
I know Meet the Teacher zooms are beginning and will continue next week. This is an informative time with your child’s teacher that should answer many questions. I hope you will make plans to attend.
The following verse has been on my mind lately, and I love Phillip's version:
Romans 12: 2 – Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold, but let God re-mold your minds from within, so that you may prove in practice that the plan of God for you is good, meets all his demands and moves towards the goal of true maturity.
Blessings,
Traci Tucker
