“On Rosh HaShanah it is written, on Yom Kippur it is sealed…”

We are living through extraordinary times. Over the upcoming Days of Awe, we metaphorically open the Book of Life and consider the fragility and significance of our life. This year, these words are all the more meaningful and powerful.

These High Holy Days will be anything but ordinary, with all of our services online. It was a difficult decision to make, but we believe this format is the safest and most inclusive option for our community as a whole. In these days and beyond, we will continue to do our best to keep connected with each other and remain Jewishly engaged. This year we are offering over two dozen online services and programs during the High Holy Day season. You can register for the events of your choosing at no charge. We want to reach as many people as possible, offering comfort, familiarity and support at this important time.

At Temple Anshe Sholom, we remain committed to providing high-quality programs and meaningful spiritual and communal experiences for our Temple community throughout this difficult time. We want to thank you for the many ways you support our community, through your presence, your involvement, and if possible, by contributing this year to our High Holy Day Appeal with your tax-deductible gift to Temple Anshe Sholom. Your generosity will help us continue to fulfill our mission and sustain our congregation.

We are deeply grateful for your support. To make your voluntary donation, please contact Brenda McAlpine in our Temple office at 905-528-0121, ext. 22, or donate through our website:

When you register for our online services please consider your gift. To those who have donated to date, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

“On Rosh HaShanah it is written, on Yom Kippur it is sealed…”
Together we write the future of our congregation for generations to come.

We wish you all a shanah tova u’m’tukah - a happy, healthy and sweet New Year.
