Please be Extra Careful

We have been made aware of a spate of tip jar thefts from eateries within Eastbourne Town Centre over the last few weeks.

The offenders are very quick and confident so please do be extra careful and keep an eye on any tip jars or charity boxes you may have on your counter. If you can, secure them safely.

The businesses we know of have reported the offences to the police and we are liaising with our police contact, the business wardens and our BID ambassadors.

Please remember that you can call our ambassadors directly, even if you have called the police. The ambassadors are always in the BID area and can get to you quickly during their working hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-4pm.
