Most toddlers and preschoolers exhibit some ADHD-like signs as part of their normal and healthy development such as becoming easily distracted, talking endlessly, or moving around like a jumping bean. These neurotypical behaviors are difficult to differentiate and distinguish from the patterns associated with ADHD at such a young age. As a result, many parents fall into the trap of waiting for behaviors to improve. However, waiting too long can cause serious problems for children who do have ADHD. Untreated symptoms put them at great risk for long-term social, emotional, academic, and behavioral difficulties.

Early detection and intervention are critical for children with ADHD to overcome those risks. Therefore, parents and practitioners must know how to identify early warning signs of ADHD and how to intervene effectively to optimize kids’ long-term success in all areas of functioning.
In this webinar, you will learn:
  • how to identify early warning signs and effectively diagnose ADHD in young children (ages 3 to 8).
  • the importance of early intervention and key areas to target.
  • practical and effective strategies to help young children with ADHD and associated difficulties.
  • the role of medication for treating ADHD in young children.
There will also be an opportunity for you to post questions for Dr. Caroline Buzanko during the live webinar.
