Who is Reclink Australia?

Connecting with Agencies and Participants

The Reclink team across Australia have been contacting community agencies, organisations, and local councils to help support the community in the most appropriate way during COVID-19. Reclink have been delivering regular virtual network meetings to connect agencies and organisations with the work we do.

As part of this, Reclink introduced a powerful and engaging online speaker series – aimed at providing inspiration and encouragement to our participants during COVID-19 restrictions.

Special guests who have featured during this series include Gary Ayres, Father Bob Maguire, Reclink Founder, Peter Cullen, and many more! We have also created the platform for community agencies to discuss the great work they are doing in their local areas. The speaker series airs on the Reclink Australia Facebook page… catch the latest videos

Getting active online
An exciting and varied online program has been developed to help our participants stay active at home! This program combines sports activities such as boxing and footy, yoga and mindfulness exercises, as well as fun fitness challenges.

We have sport and recreation program content being delivered daily via our
Facebook and YouTube pages – check out the program schedule here!

Connecting one-on-one

The Reclink team has been reaching out to all of our regular participants to touch base and support them during this time of isolation. This has been done through phone calls, emails, text messages, and through social media messages.

These conversations have allowed the team to help participants gain access to a variety of community services. This has also enabled the team to signpost participants to our online schedule or other online community content, as well as identify those who will benefit from support through our Sports Share Program.
Sharing is caring
Sports Share has helped to deliver a wide range of sporting equipment including footballs, bikes, basketballs, skipping ropes, cricket sets and much more to community agencies, individual participants and families.

Reclink Sports Share packs are filled with a variety of sporting equipment and activities and are distributed to agencies across the areas we operate to use onsite or share with their clients.

Online forums
The Reclink team has created a wide range of online forums and chat groups utilising services such Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Zoom.

This has enabled not only the team to stay in regular contact, but has given participants the opportunity to talk with each other and keep connected with friends within each program.
Training courses
During the restrictions we have been supplying online level one coaching qualifications free of charge thanks to partnerships with the AFL and Basketball Victoria. We have also been promoting government online COVID-19 training courses, online seminars, and wellbeing courses to participants and agencies.

We will continue to grow this over the weeks and months ahead to include more learning opportunities.
