Scholastic Virtual Book Fair 10/12-10/25
This year we will sponsor Virtual Book Fairs! Support our schools and help your child discover new books, favorite characters, complete series, and more! You'll love the fun new option to shop for Book Fair exclusives directly from the interactive booklist and enjoy free shipping on books-ONLY for purchases over $25.
It's a new school year... let's instill a new-found love of reading!
Pumpkin and Poems Contest Week of 10/26-10/30
Pumpkins and Poems - All students are invited to submit a decorated pumpkin and/or a Halloween themed poem during the week leading up to Halloween.
PTA Membership Drive
PTA Memberships will now be paid online. The cost is $10.00 per family. Sign up link below. Be apart of a great team. Be the voice for your children.

- On the memo line of the check, please indicate that the donation is for FP PTA Membership, the name of your child, classroom teacher name.

Box Tops
Box Tops have gone digital! Simply download the FREE Box Tops for Education app from the Itunes/Google Play and select your school. Buy participating products and use the Box Top
Mobile App to scan your store receipt. The app identifies eligible products and automatically adds to your schools earnings. even if you’re shopping online or doing your grocery pickup, you can
still submit e-receipts to receive earnings. Receipts must be scanned within 14 days of purchase and all participating products still need to feature a Box Top for Education label. Fall submission deadline is 11/2/2020 and Spring submission deadline is 3/1/2010. Learn how to scan for your school:

All school assembly programs are paused until after January 2021 discuss the status of programs for the remaining school year.

Mon., Oct. 5th-Fri, Oct. 9th

Monday: Wear pajamas to school: PUT BULLYING TO BED - Students will identify what RESPECT looks like, sounds like, and feels like.

Tuesday: Bring your favorite stuffed animal to show you’re a buddy, not a bully: BUDDY DAY! "It is Okay to Be Different" activity.

Wednesday: Wear your favorite mask: WE CAN’T MASK OUR RESPECT - Teachers will show video to introduce the Week of Respect.

Thursday: Wear Tie-Dye/Peace Signs: GIVE PEACE A CHANCE - Teachers will read the BWD Anti-Bullying pledge at Morning Meeting and students will be given time to sign and decorate a hand representing that they agree to our pledge. Their hands will be made into our school’s “Tree of Respect.”

Friday: Crazy Hair Day: WE ARE CRAZY ABOUT BEING RESPECTFUL - Students will participate in “What Respect Means to Them” and receive a RESPECT Certificate.

Photos will be taken outdoors and class photos will be made by composite (no group photos).
