WELCOME

New restrictions have been announced by the government this week. The NYA have confirmed with the government that the youth sector can remain open so our guidelines dated 17th August are still valid.

Following our recent CYP Survey, we invited you to join Aike and myself in pondering these questions:

  1. How can we reimagine children and youth work and use the restrictions of the pandemic as an opportunity?
  2. How can we include CYP in all areas of church life, draw them into leadership, have them speak into our decision making and engage them in new ways?
  3. How do we capture the energy that CYP offer at the heart of what we do to bring transformation?
  4. Alongside junior church, how can we integrate what we do to include and welcome everyone together?

Things are not the same as they were before and will never be. We are on the cusp of moving on a slightly different trajectory and have an opportunity to think outside the box. How can we amalgamate our learning during this time, build on our discoveries, hold CYP at the heart of what we do and develop ministries that will make a bigger impact for the future?

You can connect with us on Twitter and Facebook and all of our resources can be found on our website. Any safeguarding concerns, please contact the Safeguarding team directly.

Thank you for all you do to walk, welcome and grow your mission and ministry amongst children and young people.
