Subject: Putting weekly events updates on pause + What do you think should be included in updates we send out in the future?
To: Tactile Times subscribers

Dear Subscribers,
I hope you have enjoyed the summer holidays.
We have really enjoyed putting all the accessible events together into a weekly email but as people are starting to go back to school, lots of charities (like Look-UK and NCW) have been announcing that they will not have any events for young braillists during the school term.
Sadly, this means that there is no longer a need for a weekly events update from us, as we cannot find enough events to make it worth putting events together any more.
Sight and Sound  and the Braillists are the only companies/charities we know of that are keeping their webinars/events going (but many of you will probably not have time to attend them as you will be at school).

As there are now only two companies/charities providing accessible events and everyone is going back in to school, there is no point continuing with these updates. We would also not be giving you any more info than the information in Sight and Sound's and the Braillists Foundation's weekly newsletters, which will continue to be sent out each week.
This is why we have made the difficult decision to pause our events emails for now.
This  means that we can focus our effort and time in other things like Issue 3. We are planning to publish Issue 3 soon and thank you to these of you who contributed articles to it.
We are now also thinking about sending out monthly updates, which could include events but also the latest from Tactile Times.
We would really appreciate it if you could tell us what you think at:
https://forms.gle/GrBXEiQzvdVdrDzh6
You do not have to complete all the questions. Only the first one is required and you can complete as few or as many as you would like.
If you tell us what you think, you will help us to take the best decision about how to keep you all updated about the things that you like the most from our events emails, and you will help make our updates the best they can be.
If you would prefer just to email us your ideas, you can get in touch at info@tactiletimes.org
