Customers old family secret revealed

Coleen is a 6th grade teacher in Gillette Wyoming these days, and shared a story with us yesterday that included a family secret that goes back to when she was a little girl, riding home in the car to Fort Collins with her parents, and two sisters Kelly and Shawna. After visiting Estes Park, the girls would play a game that they knew as a fun family tradition, which her sister Kelly usually won. You see, Kelly could hold a piece of taffy in her mouth the longest, without swallowing it. Coleen still recollects the game as an important part of their Estes Park experience- and said that they were all surprised by their parents when they revealed just 10 years ago that the game had a hidden motive- it kept the girls quiet all the way home after a busy day exploring in Estes Park! Quiet time for parents is worth its weight in gold, and we hope that by sharing this story, other families might benefit from their old fashioned parenting skills...
