#2
What: Maine Supreme Judicial Court - Hearing of oral argument on appeal in court case on the Clear Skies Ordinance - Portland Pipeline v. City of South Portland.
When: Wednesday, 9/16 at 8:30AM
Live audio only streaming for court hearing available: here.
Note: The Portland Pipeline has submitted an application to the DEP to renew their license. This is needed to continue their business. It does not permit them to reverse the pipeline to bring tar sands from Canada. That would require a separate permit application to the City and the DEP. They could only do that if the City of South Portland were to lose the court case.
