Hello All,

Welcome to this weeks notices and prayer points.

Also Jaswinder ,Sham, Manjot & Navjot would like to thank you all for your prayers and thank you, and the Lord for the funds to cover their September household bills and the extras incurred now that the boys are restarting school and activities. Please continue to pray for them all.

This Weeks Prayer Points

Greece: Pray for the safety of all people in Lesvos after the Moria camp caught fire, leaving 13,000 refugees and migrants without shelter. There was already concern about the spread of Covid in the camp and residents on the island will be anxious, as well as those who have been made homeless. Pray for N.G.Os and all aid workers and the contacts that Reach Beyond has to be able to help in this difficult situation.

Yemen: Continue prayer for an end to the civil war. Taiz is known as the city of snipers and local people suffer from bombing by the Saudi alliance and snipers from the Houthi rebels. They find it almost impossible to get help from local hospitals.

Iraq: Give thanks for the work of Mosaic, (formerly FRRME) which was started by Andrew White. Pray for their work amongst refugees in Jordan, and the clinic in St. George’s Baghdad. The U.S. plans to withdraw a third of their troops at the end of Sept.  Pray that this will not lead to an increase of I.S. attacks on places like Kirkuk.

Sudan: Give thanks for a peace deal which should see an end to the war with Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile. Some parts of Islamic law have also been relaxed. Pray for the church to grow and persecution to decline.

Mali: Pray for stability after the recent coup. People in neighbouring countries are fearful of I.S. militants filling the power vacuum and increasing in the area.

Belarus/Hong Kong: pray for those who are protesting as they see their freedoms being eroded.

Iran: Pray for Nazanin Zachary Ratcliffe who is to face a new trial. Ask for the Lord’s intervention for her and others who are effectively hostages and also for Christians suffering persecution.

International Y.F.C: Pray for Sam and Martin this coming week as they facilitate the “More” online conference for staff worldwide. Pray for protection on their internet and anything that would prevent the delegates participating. Pray for all translators and those who are speaking and listening, that all may be encouraged in their ministry.

Lebanon: Continue prayer for Y.F.C. staff who are back working after a very short break and who face huge challenges given the situation in the country.

B.Y.FC: Pray for all the year out volunteers who have been training last week and for the O’Boyles as all of them have busy schedules. Praise God! that Jake in the U.S. has just received his work permit. Give thanks that Lucy has started at Bible college this week. This is a three year degree course.

Belgium: Pray for Adrian as he starts work with his church this coming week, for Nathan at school and Fiona as she continues her online work. Ask that they will soon make good friends and renew old friendships.

Canaries: Give thanks that Jo and Paula have found an online prayer meeting helpful in breaking their isolation. Continue to pray for the publication of her book.

S.Africa: Continue prayer for the Nobbs family and Ghila and Jerome.

India: Give thanks that Janaki’s team have seen answers to prayer, healings from Covid, and people coming to know Jesus. Continue to pray for all who are suffering from the effects of Covid.

U.K: Pray for our government to be given wisdom in all their decision-making. Pray for revival to come to our land with a return to faith in the Lord and obedience to His will. Pray especially for students returning to college and children and teachers at school.

Local: Give thanks for a huge answer to prayer and celebrate with the Bangas that they have been given leave to stay in the U.K.

Pray for them as they continue to seek the Lord’s guidance for his will for each of them. Continue prayer for Phil, Sally and our P.C.C. Pray for a zoom A.P.C.M. in October and the need for a treasurer and two wardens.
