Financial Responsibilities of Trustee Boards event from 10am to 4pm Thursday 24 September 2020

Led by Community Learning and Empowerment Network (CLEN), this interactive virtual training aims to help trustees of voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) become confident in addressing the financial issues in their organisation. It will enable them make sound financial planning, management and reporting decisions, which comply with their governance and statutory duties.
 
It is targeted at trustees of VCOs delivering services for residents within the London Boroughs of Lambeth and Wandsworth, however inexperienced staff with financial management responsibilities can attend.

The training is free to attend but places are limited so please book to reserve your place ASAP.

CLEN's mission is to strengthen the ability of voluntary and community organisations to serve their communities, and to promote the active participation of local residents in decisions which affect their lives.

CLEN has been commissioned by Walcot Foundation and Battersea Power Station Foundation to provide capacity building support to local voluntary sector organisations. CLEN works closely with Walcot Foundation facilitating a Peer Support Network for small-medium charities and community groups in Lambeth as part of its capacity building service.
