TomKat Innovation Transfer Grant

The TomKat Center's Innovation Transfer Program assists Stanford University faculty, staff, and students in commercializing breakthrough technologies and innovations in sustainability. Grants are awarded to develop prototypes, to refine business plans, and to conduct customer trials and market research. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis in Fall and Spring quarter. energyCatalyst Grants TomKat’s energyCatalyst Grants aim to connect the Stanford community and support activities that will introduce and deepen knowledge around sustainable energy concepts and opportunities. These grants are designed to augment curriculum for undergraduate and graduate students in all departments and schools. Applications from faculty, lecturers, and students will be considered. Law 807K: The Outlaw Ocean This policy lab confronts the global environmental, human rights, and privacy challenges associated with the framework of international laws and policies that apply to the high seas, illegal fishing, and forced labor and slavery.  More info here
Policy Practicum: Assessing the Impact of China's Global Infrastructure Spending on Climate Change The method used in this practicum is designed to reflect the way global infrastructure funding works, politically and economically, in actual practice – and thus to elucidate realistic ways to decarbonize Chinese infrastructure financing.  More info here
807W: Developing Best Practices for Clean Water Act Enforcement As part of an EPA initiative to cut the SNC rate in half by 2022,  the research team will coordinate with EPA regulators to develop a "Best Practices" Compendium about innovative interventions piloted and implemented by states, EPA regions, and federal EPA.
