September Special Offer - A three pack of Single Varietal Samplers
Single varietal wines are fun for us to make and give us a way of learning the character of each grape. As most of you know, we love to blend, but this is where the blending begins. Each grape varietal enters our fermenters on their own, with a few exceptions; Syrah co-fermented with Viognier is our most prominent. We've selected these 2015 vintage M varietals as an end of summer three pack.

2015 :Nota Bene Malbec - Columbia Valley
2015 :Nota Bene Merlot - Ciel du Cheval Vineyard
2015 :Nota Bene Mourvèdre - Heart of the Hill Vineyard 

All three of these wines have recently graced our table at home and passed the Carol Test with distinction. Explore the tasting notes here.

View our fermenters of Arianses Syrah and our StoneTree Syrah becoming wine at the winery this Saturday.

Tasting this Saturday, September 12, from 1:00 - 5:00 pm are by reservation. We have reservations on the hour between 1:00 and 4:00 in our temporary outside area. This gives us the opportunity to reserve 24 spots/5 persons each max. So far the weather looks great. Please email now if you are interested.

Harvest Volunteers
We have a number of harvest volunteer opportunities involving crushing and pressing, and even an occasional trip to the vineyards for those who are intrepid enough to last 12 hours in our Penske rental truck. Please email us if you are interested in seeing winemaking and harvest up close.
Crush is generally Sunday at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Pressing is generally Thursday at 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Vineyard trips are generally on Saturday 7:00 am until late
:Nota Bene to Bordeaux in 2021
The intriguing architecture on the left is the Cité du Vin.
 
Bordeaux has such a deep history as one of the most respected wine producing regions in the world that we can't wait any longer to visit. One trip may not be enough to satisfy our curiosity. We have partnered again with Experi, a local Bainbridge Island company, to build a travel experience that should be an exciting overview of the region. We'll visit four wineries and taste many Bordeaux wines in the course of the trip. Please peruse the itinerary below and let us know if you are interested joining us.
We are raising the urgency of our need to book these dates because excitement about touring Europe in 2021 is increasing and we don't want to miss this opportunity. Please reply if you are interested.
