Dear Family of God at St. Mark's:
As I hurriedly write this, South Medford, Phoenix, and Talent, or at least parts of them, are under a Level 3 GO evacuation alert due to the Alameda Fire. All of East Medford south of McAndrews and west of Foothill/Phoenix Road is at a Level 2 GET READY evacuation order. As our house is just north of there, we are preparing to evacuate if needed. Other members of our congregation have already evacuated or are making preparations to do so. Please keep members of our congregation in your prayers and please monitor police and other emergency services communication channels for further developments.
