The BCA rededicates the racing shell in recognition of “OneBeach”
CSULB and the Rowing Program have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 Virus. The University’s response to the crisis has been named “OneBeach”.
The rowing program developed a plan to meet the crisis and still maintain an opportunity for student-athletes to train.
The LBRA has offered student memberships to our rowers, and alums have loaned them single shells to allow for training in a healthy manner while maintaining social distancing.
The name ONEBEACH captures the spirit of teamwork and community that is an essential part of the rowing program.
The newly dedicated “ONE BEACH” proudly represents the spirit and unified mission of our team and our university!

Annual Meeting and Election of Officers to be held virtually

The BCA Board of Directors will hold their annual meeting on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1pm. This year, due to Corona Virus-19 restrictions, the meeting will be held virtually on Google Meet.

The slate of officers up for re-election is Scott Charette, Wolf Thiele, and David Chaffee.
Members must call in to vote and nominations for the board must be submitted to election committee chairman Ken Glenn at kglenn49@live.com not later than 14 days prior to the annual meeting.
