We are thrilled to launch our 2020 action campaign to ensure DreamWakers can continue to make a difference in the classrooms that need it most. Throughout the three-week campaign, the DreamWakers community will come together in support of our collective mission: helping students see what they can be.
Why now? More than half of all U.S. classrooms have started the school year fully virtual. Students across the country are preparing for a school year of uncertainty, seeking connection and inspiration in a difficult era of remote learning. Educators, themselves on the front lines of this pandemic, are being stretched in unique ways. We cannot leave education to chance, and DreamWakers' career conversations are a key solution to supporting students to look toward an exciting future.
We Need Your Help.
We are counting on you to ensure that DreamWakers can continue to support students and educators from under-resourced schools amid a growing opportunity gap exacerbated by the global pandemic. During this campaign, we aim to together raise $25,000 in new funding to expand our positive impact on students at a time when demand for connection to career role models is at an all-time high. We can't do it without the help of our community.
