Trophies and certificates for this year's Waltham Abbey Town Council 'Waltham Abbey in Bloom' and horticultural show have been presented by Deputy Mayor Jodie Lucas.
Entries were judged and the awards presented at Waltham Abbey Town Hall on Friday evening.
Councillor Lucas said: "It was a pleasure to present the awards which recognised the town's cooks and green-fingered residents.
"The awards ceremony was slightly different to usual because of social distancing but it was great to be able to congratulate our residents who have demonstrated their gardening and other talents during the COVID-19 lockdown."

Best Kept Allotment, Best New Allotment and Best Overall Allotment - Donna Brown
Best Kept Residential Garden, Best Residential Container, Best Residential Hanging Basket, Tallest Sunflower and Best Overall in Bloom - Sheila and Andreas Thomas
Best School Garden with Pupil Involvement - Hill House Primary School
Horticultural Show winners:
Three potatoes, one marrow and dwarf beans - Linda Jewson
Three onions, three beetroots, three carrots and best overall in show - James Wainaina
Three courgettes, one squash and most unusual variety - Tracy Billyeald
Five runner beans - Verity and Reggie Allen
Sweetcorn, spring onions, peppers and chillies and three flowers from the garden - Mark Hall-Pearson
