An award-winning leisure company has pledged its continued support of Shrewsbury Town Football Club by extending its stand sponsorship at the Montgomery Waters Meadow stadium for another season.

The new deal means Salop Leisure will have sponsored the South stand at the club’s Montgomery Waters Meadow stadium for 10 seasons by the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

The local events company has launched ‘Friends of Shropshire Festivals’ to raise much-needed funds to weather the devastating loss of income due to Covid-19. Shropshire Festivals had no choice but to cancel all seven of their planned major events this year.

Loyal festivalgoers can now become ‘Friends of’ the Shrewsbury Food Festival, Shropshire Oktoberfest and Shropshire Kids Festival. Sales of the annual membership will enable the events to continue next year. Each option includes tickets to the chosen 2021 event plus some exclusive extras.
