Golf Australia is introducing updates to the affiliation fee collection process in 2020. We hope you will find the new process an improvement and encourage you to provide feedback to finance@golf.org.au over the coming months.


The updates include changes to the communications, member number reporting and invoicing. Please see the following information for more detail.


2020 Affiliation Fees


The 2020 Affiliation Fees are due and payable by 30 October 2020. Clubs are required to self-report the registered number of members using the link below.

We understand that some clubs may be experiencing cash flow issues as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. Upon request, Golf Australia will proactively work with clubs that are experiencing financial hardship to develop a payment plan for affiliation fees. Any such request should be directed to clubsupport@golf.org.au .


The affiliation fees will be used to support the achievement of our strategic objectives outlined in the attached Strategic Plan, in particular:

Implementing a new program called “Get into Golf” designed to attract more people into the game;

Investing into the Vision 2025 program designed to make golf more attractive to women and girls and boost playing numbers;

Significantly increase the scope of the Clubs and Facilities support program designed to help provide clubs and facilities around the country through improved information, business tools, case studies etc.; and

Continuing to improve our data capabilities via a new website a dramatic improvement in our connection and engagement with casual golfers.

2020 Golflink Fee Update


The GOLF Link fee for 2020 has increased to $3.85 per member. This represents the cost price charged to Golf Australia under its agreement with the third party provider.

Golf Australia has previously been restricted under the agreement from passing on annual increases in its cost of providing the GOLF Link service. This is the first year that the restriction is lifted and as such Golf Australia has decided to match both the cost and the fee per member. These fees will be collected with the 2020 Golf NT fees due 30 October 2020.


To submit membership numbers for your club, please click on the button below and complete the form with the membership numbers.  You will be able to view a summary of the affiliation fee before submitting your club numbers to Golf Australia.  An invoice will automatically be sent to your preferred email once club member numbers are submitted.

Clubs are required to self-report the registered number of members (as at 30 June 2020).  For the purpose of ensuring the Northern Territory receives adequate funding, please ensure you report accurate numbers.  These will be compared against historical data and GolfLink club membership data for discrepancies. 

An Affiliation Fee is payable based on the number of golfers at your Club regardless of whether that individual golfer is a member of one or more clubs.

*A golfer is defined as any member of any category of membership of an affiliated golf club, which allows that member to play golf (competition or social only). Each golfer is required to pay such a levy or levies at each club of which he or she is a member.
