The Outpouring of the Spirit on All

As we continue our series on Acts this week, we turn to the second chapter.  Peter begins his sermon by quoting the prophet Joel (see Acts 2:17 above).  Notice some key points: 1) In the last days… 2) God pours out His Spirit… 3) On all flesh.
            The great gift of the Holy Spirit is to be poured out on all.  That means you and me—whether we are old or young, no matter what country we’re from, no matter if we’re male or female.  God wants to pour out His Spirit on all of us.  And as we’re all filled with the Spirit, we’re able to share the gospel with all nations, so that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Acts 2:21).
            The new school year at MEU is underway.  It’s an exciting time here.  God’s Spirit is working on our campus.  He’s working in our students.  He’s working in our faculty, staff, and administration.  Let’s keep asking for the outpouring of the Spirit on our campus.  Let’s keep asking for the outpouring of the Spirit on our entire church family.  Kel yom—which is Arabic for “every day.”

Dear Church Family,

As the Sabbath begins, let your heart and mind find peace, and let your joy be full as we fellowship with God and each other! The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath (Mk 2:27). And this Sabbath we will gather together as a family on the MEU campus! What a privilege! Here are the locations for Sabbath Schools below:

Children's Sabbath Schools from 9:30-10:45am-
1. Kindergarten Will meet on the main campus lawn.
2. Primary Will meet beside the Children's SS classrooms.
3. Juniors Will meet by the baptismal pool (beside the South Hall).
2.   Early Teens Will meet near room 105 on the lawn.
3.   Teens Will meet on the porch outside the Theology classroom.

Adult Sabbath School Options 9:30-10:45am-
1. Auditorium SS Quarterly Study- Will meet on the main campus lawn outside the auditorium. Teacher- Ron Vyhmeister.
2. Room #217 Sabbath School Discussion Group- Will meet on the apartment lawn below the MENAU office. Teacher- Kheir Boutros.
3. Branch Sabbath School Class- Will meet on Zoom Here. (Meeting ID: 211 947 4967 Passcode: KKhhP8)
4. Collegiate Class will meet in the cafeteria.

University Church Service at 11am will be in person on the MEU lawn; Speaker, Dr. Larry Lichtenwalter on Pt. 2 "God's Spirit-filled Church: Lessons from the Early Church for the Last Days". Also, available live on Facebook.  Join through the Church Facebook site.
