Pray for Pastor Matsumoto and Yamagata Deaf Christ Church. The average age is 50-60 and there are few young people. Please pray that the Word of God lives in members and that they will go and connect with the hearts of young people.

September 2nd (Ezra 10:4)
Pray for Uiko's request that the team will continue to make progress on Ezra chapters 7-10 and Obadiah even during the pandemic, so that we can publish them soon.

September 3rd (Acts 17:11)
Pray for Pastor Matsumoto's request that the team continues to learn what the Bible says and reach out to Deaf people with great eagerness.

September 4th (Proverbs 2:11)
Pray for Kohki's request of God’s protection over the project of Obadiah and the translation schedule. Also, pray for the team to have good discretion.

September 5th (John 14:27)
Pray for Fukushima Deaf Church to have peace only the Lord can give.


September 6th (Ezra 8:23)
Pray for Sora's request of continued prayer for the Ezra translation team working on chapters 7-10. Pray for innovative ways and strategies to make further progress with a remote translator during this challenging season.

September 7th (Exodus 15:2)
Pray for Mr. Yamamoto's request as the team has been preparing a huge amount of data for the JSL Bible dictionary app. In this process, Mr. Yamamoto continues to collect the data from Exodus and Matthew. Please pray that God strengthens the team and him. 

September 8th (Philippians 1:6)
Pray for Mr. Ogata's request that the team will continue to faithfully work on making translation progress despite the pandemic’s effect which has challenged many people.

September 9th (3 John 1:2)
Pray for Otsubo's request of protection as some members are allowed to work at the office when necessary. As they commute by public transport, pray for the health and safety of the staff members.

September 10th (Exodus 15:26)
Pray for Yagi's request of God’s strength so that she will check the data of Exodus wisely and that God helps her to focus on her work even though she has low back pain. Pray for healing.

September 11th (Proverbs 13:20) 
Pray for Hori's request for Pastor Washio as he focuses on teaching the Bible and counseling young adults who joined his church recently.

September 12th (Philemon 1:25)
Pray for Pastor Sakaguchi as he serves the team, his family, and Deaf Bible Baptist Church in Kagoshima.

September 13th (Colossians 2:2-3)
Pray for Uiko's request as now is the beginning of the fiscal year, the staff are reevaluating their job descriptions. Pray for God’s wisdom on the team to divide the work wisely. 

September 14th (Acts 12:24) 
Pray for Sora's request that more awareness of the JSL Bible will spread throughout Japan. Pray that it will be used even more widely by Deaf churches, communities and individuals.
 
September 15th (Colossians 3:17) 
Mr. Yamamoto, Ms. Yagi, and Ms. Otsubo have checked the Japanese subtitles, chapters, and verses of the JSL Bible app. Pray that they carefully look up the content for the JSL Bible app.

September 16th (Ezra 3:11)
Praise! Mr. Ogata is thankful that the final recording of Ezra chapters 1-6 is finished and for prayers answered over God's protection of the equipment used during filming.

September 17th (Matthew 5:16)
Pray for Hori's request for Pastor Washio, who has established a new table tennis team to reach the Japanese Deaf community. Pray that Pastor Washio and his team will evangelize Deaf people.

September 18th (Proverbs 2:6)
Pray for God’s wisdom on Ms. Yagi so that she can connect to the hearts of individuals, and their conversation would be cohesive and clear for further translation progress.

September 19th (Matthew 22:37)
Pray for Pastor Kori as she serves on the leadership team and for her congregation in Hiroshima.

September 20th (Daniel 2:21)
Keep praying for God’s wisdom on Kohki that he can communicate well with the exegetical team, the technical support staff, and those who manage the data so that the team can develop the JSL Dictionary app.

September 21st (2 John 1:6)
Pray for Uiko's request as the team prepares to release the DVD of 1,2,3 John and Daniel. Pray for completion of the DVD’s production process.

September 22nd (Jeremiah 32:27)
Pray for Hori's request that the team can find new translators as the goal is to have multiple translation teams.

September 23rd (1 John 5:20)
Pray for Otsubo who shared the JSL Bible with her friend. Pray that JSL Bible will help her to understand God’s message clearly. 

September 24th (Psalm 32:7)
Pray for the team as they manage their YouTube channel. Pray God’s protection on this digital service, and for it continue to work properly.

September 25th (Luke 24:45)
Pray for Hori's request of God’s strength to support the exegetical team. Also pray for God’s wisdom so that they will understand difficult passages of Scripture.

September 26th (Psalm 8:1)
Pray for Pastor Minamida and Tokyo Deaf Church as they worship today.

September 27th (Genesis 22:14)
Pray that the JSL Bible Support team will serve the team in Tokyo well and that God will provide more volunteers to serve on the team.

September 28th (Ecclesiastes 2:26a)
Pray for Mr. Y to have wisdom and humility and for his family as he travels and serves many translation projects.

September 29th (Acts 17:27) 
Pray for God to bless the Tokyo office landlady and for her husband to seek Jesus as Savior and Lord. 

September 30th (Mark 12:33)
Pray for Pastor Matsumoto's request of continued prayers for good preparation before the annual board meeting in October, as the leadership team gives first priority to Jesus’ most important commandment.
