A*S*K Certification Examination Policy:
Temporary Modifications for 2020-2021

Thinking Ahead
With the uncertainty around the start of this school year, you likely aren't thinking about end-of-year exams. Rest assured that we are working on your behalf to ensure your students can earn the certifications they need.

Ensuring Exam Security
As always, A*S*K Certification Exams must be delivered in a secure, proctored manner. We are adding flexibility this year to the requirement for on-site testing, with allowances for secure, remote testing to take place in accordance with your state or district regulations. See policy below.
TESTING POLICY AMENDMENT FOR REMOTE LEARNING

A*S*K Certification Exam policies require that the assessment be delivered in a secure, proctored, on-site environment. In the event of a pandemic situation in which your state or district guidelines require remote testing, exams may be delivered in accordance with your state or local school's secure testing policy for remote assessments.

As always, pretests do not require a proctor, and therefore may be taken in building or remotely without being subject to the policy stated above.
Helping Students Prepare
  • Pretests measure individual student growth and inform instruction over the course of the school year.
  • Exam prep resources, such as aligned lesson modules (LAPs) and practice tests, get students ready for the certification exam.
