Innovation Fund Round 2 to open Friday, September 4

The Charlotte Center City Small Business Innovation Fund Round 2 grant application will open this Friday, September 4, at noon. The application window will be open until noon on September 18.

Any business that submitted a round 1 application will automatically be entered into round 2 if not yet funded. Businesses also have the option to modify their existing application. 

To prepare for the opening of the Round 2 application window, Charlotte Center City Partners will host a pre-application webinar on Wednesday, September 2nd at 9:00 am. The team will share insights from Round 1, tips on how to apply for Round 2 and answer questions about the fund. Click here to register.

Explore South End Art

Charlotte Center City Partners, in collaboration with Lowe's and ArtPop Street Gallery have chosen 13 artists and 13 pieces of work to be displayed in empty (yet very viewable) South End property spaces in efforts to spread positiviy and hope in the community. 

Artwork will be displayed at The Hub (2250 Hawkins Street), 2100 S. Tryon Street, and Lowe's Home Improvement Store on S. Blvd. (217 Iverson Way). More information about our amazing artists can be found here. Check out their awesome work! 

Missing the South End Gallery Crawl? Us too. Thankfully, Dilworth Artisan Station is opening their doors this Friday, September 4th from 11am-7pm for their September Gallery Crawl. Please wear your mask, be safe, and buy art! You can also join Hidell Brooks virtual gallery starting this Friday & browse Elder Gallery by appointment.
