Dear Friend,
It’s September! Eagle County will mail our ballots on October 9th. Are you ready?
Register to vote or confirm your registration information at govotecolorado.gov.
- In particular, make sure both your mailing and residential addresses are correct.
- If you want your ballot sent to yet a different address, you can do that as well by adding a temporary mailing address. Remember that, by law, ballots cannot be forwarded!
Did you know that you can pick up your ballot (and only your own ballot; you can’t pick up a ballot for other family members or friends) in person starting September 21st? This is especially helpful if you are planning to be out of town in October or November.
Just visit the Clerk & Recorder’s office at an open Voter Service and Polling Center. You can even mail it while you are there!
Read about more registration and ballot facts on our website at vailvalleyvotes.org/voting-faq.
Be sure to keep an eye out for next week’s Vail Valley Votes email, where we will summarize the state-wide measures and referenda that will be on the ballot. Our aim is to help you be fully prepared to vote the entire ballot as soon as it arrives!
Your vote is your voice!
Thanks for reading this email, and please send us any comments or questions, at vailvalleyvotes@gmail.com.
