Welcome to WorkAbility E- News!

WorkAbility QLD is here to help build tomorrow’s NDIS Workforce.  Our job is to find ways to grow the workforce, connect the Industry, and highlight remarkable initiatives taking place.

In this edition of WorkAbility E-news we

  • invite organisations to be part of an Industry-wide conversation about support coordinators
  • share two new projects aimed to grow the NDIS workforce.
Kind regards,
The WorkAbility Consortium
Join the Review of the Support Coordinators Model

Did you know 156,912 (40%) NDIS participants have support coordination funded in their current plans?

With such a big cohort of people using this essential part of their service the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is proposing a review regarding the current service model to support coordination.

The NDIA invites feedback from participants, providers, representative organisations and the broader community on ways to improve the participant experience.

Be part of this important conversation. To learn more or to make a submission click here. Closing date is Sunday 13 September.
