Take Action, Get Prepared

September is National Preparedness Month, which reminds us that we should take action to prepare, now and throughout the year, for the types of emergencies that could affect where we live, work, and visit. Our friends at the American Red Cross provided some tips on being prepared in case of a hurricane or other severe weather.

Toilet Paper Only Please

Flushing wipes (baby wipes, disposable wipes... even those labeled "flushable") can block your pipes and the entire sewer system! Blocking these sewer pipes can lead to costly sewage overflows into your home or community creeks. Watch our PWC 101 for more insight on keeping "Wipes Out of the Pipes."
