Dry Clay Modeling Workshop with Yuliya Yu
Our first UBCAni x PRINT collab workshop is coming up this weekend, September 5'th at 12pm, and we are excited for you all to join us as we learn and try our hands at dry clay modeling under the experienced tutelage of Yuliya Yu! If you havent already, please make sure to RSVP for the Facebook event: Gekkan Crafts Workshop 1 and sign up for the art collab Google form.
For those of you participating in this workshop, Yuliya will be sculpting and painting a Roald from Animal Crossing New Horizons and if you would like to follow along, a few art supplies will be needed, which can be easily purchased online or at your nearest art supply store:
1. Dry Clay

2. Acrylic Paint
- two tones of red
- yellow
- black
- orange
- cream color (optional)
Here is an image of Roald for reference (you are also totally welcome to try your own color scheme for your dry clay figure):
Exec tip: primer can be helpful in keeping the acrylic paint stay on long term but is not required for this project
