Funding Round One is currently open and will close late September. This is the first funding round of the year and it will not be the last. Additionally, the Fast Fund for applications up to $10k will be coming online early next week. The Fast Fund is open year round, with applications being assessed monthly.

What support is available to you?

Over the coming weeks, we will be hosting online forums and sharing informative videos that explain in more detail the guidelines and funding priorities for Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa . We also strongly encourage organisations who are thinking about applying to get in touch and sit down with us before submitting your application.

More details about upcoming information sessions will be announced on our Facebook page and shared on our website

We need your help to Play it Safe

As we head into another weekend at Alert Level 2, we ask for your help to continue sharing the Play It Safe message with your communities. This campaign encourages parents and spectators to respect and adhere to the guidelines set out in your health and safety plans.

The first video, launched last weekend, has reached over 25,000 people but our work is not yet done! With Alert Level 2 feeling more and more familiar, it's important we remind people to remain vigilant and keep our communities safe.

If you would like to support this campaign, you can share the videos and images from our Sport Wellington Facebook page and email us to find out how else you can get involved.

Clarification of COVID-19 Alert Level guidelines

Last week in our Regional Update we mentioned new guidelines released by Sport NZ. To clarify, there are separate guidelines for Auckland's current Alert Level 2 compared to the rest of New Zealand.

View the guidelines on the Sport NZ website
