Popular SkyDeck DeCal Class Returns for 2nd Semester

Last semester, Berkeley SkyDeck launched a DeCal class at UC Berkeley. The DeCal, sponsored by Haas Faculty members, Gregory LaBlanc and Elizabeth Kovats, featured student facilitators and past SkyDeck Interns, Ananya Jain and Aayush Davé.

Cal students may apply to join this DeCal class and get an abridged version of SkyDeck's core program, featuring some of the SkyDeck’s best speakers. By the end of the semester, students will have a much deeper understanding of what it takes to be a successful innovator and entrepreneur. This semester, the DeCal takes place every Monday from 6-8 pm. As this is a very popular DeCal class, be sure to apply here before the September 11th deadline.

Blings (Spring ‘20) lets companies engage with their customers through a personalized, data-driven, interactive video experience. HONDA recently signed Blings to effectively capture drivers for periodic car servicings.
 

4D Sight
4D Sight (Spring ‘20 Cohort) was recently in Forbes for their AI-driven AR ad placement platform. 4D Sight is working with Activision Blizzard to monetize the global Call of Duty League, placing ads into livestream matches and videos in real time.
 

iDentical

iDentical (Fall ‘19 Cohort) was recently selected among over 1,000 medtech companies to be one of 50 companies to participate in the MedTech Innovator 2020 Cohort. MedTech Innovator was recently recognized as the largest medtech innovator in the world. This program will provide iDentical with wide exposure to potential future investors and advisors, and the company will have the opportunity to win (non-dilutive) cash prizes.
 

Valuation Inc.

Valuation Inc. (Spring ‘20 HotDesk), a fintech startup specializing in automating the fundamental valuation process, recently launched its web portal which allows users to access fundamental valuation ratings and 20+ other investment metrics on 800+ US stocks. Current users of the web portal include hedge funds and investment advisors.
 

AESOP Technology

AESOP Technology (Spring ‘20 Cohort) was selected as an exhibitor at TechCrunch Disrupt 2020. The event will be virtual this year, meaning members of their team can participate from all over the globe, and so can you. They look forward to seeing everyone there.
 

CarpeMed

CarpeMed (Spring ‘20 HotDesk), also exhibiting in TechCrunch Disrupt 2020, won TechCrunch’s Pitchers and Pitches in August. Featured in the TechCrunch Startup Alley, CarpeMed hopes to continue their momentum all the way to the TechCrunch Battlefield.
