Ten years ago, the BB200 was unleashed on an unsuspecting yet highly motivated group of cyclists ... think A Team but further down the alphabet. Since then, it's dished out a degree of pain and despair but also, large dollops of immense satisfaction to those that have submitted to its call. Now, unless you've spent the last six months living under a rock with your fingers in your ears, then you can't help but have noticed that things are a bit different in 2020 and so it is with this year's BB200 ... although the pain, suffering and satisfaction will largely remain intact.
What's altering for 2020 and what's not.

1/ This years route will be emailed to riders on Sep 26th.

2/ You will have from Oct 1st to Nov 1st to ride the route but it must be undertaken in a single ride.

3/ You are free to choose your own start point and start time.

4/ As always, riders must carry a sleeping bag, some form of shelter (bivvy bag, tent or tarp), full lights and a mobile phone. No kit sharing or gear caching.

5/ Should you complete the ride in accordance with the above, then you can claim your much coveted badge by emailing me the gpx trace of your ride - Black - sub 24 hours. Blue - 24 hours to 28 hours. Green - 28 hours to 36 hours. Any times over 36 hours will not be awarded a badge.

*Any riders who already possess a black BB200 badge can choose to ride the BB300 should they wish. After entering, just email and request the BB300 route. All sub 36 hour times will count.
If that sounds weirdly appealing, then you can enter by clicking the button below. Entries will close on September 25th.
Yep, I'll have some of that.
