Requirements for Football Game Attendance at Lewis Field

TMP-Marian is blessed to have FHSU's trust so that we can host a football game even when the university itself had to cancel its own fall activities.

FHSU will not allow us to use Lewis Field if our fans do not follow the same expectations as the FHSU students and professors. With this in mind, please consider carefully before attending TMP-Marian's season opener against Oakley. If you cannot follow these expectations, please support the Monarchs via live stream or radio.

Masks

  • Wear masks to enter and leave the stadium.
  • All spectators closer than 6 feet from a non-family member must continue to wear masks when seated.
  • Students in the student section or not 6 feet from another non-family member, must wear masks.

Social Distancing
  • Being outside is a great mitigating factor, but it does not trump the requirements of wearing a mask when unable to social distance.
  • Be 6 feet away in all directions from any non-cohabitating person. Please be willing to give up the "good" seats in order to distance.

Gatherings
  • Absolutely no tailgating or gatherings before or after the game on the FHSU campus. The teams will immediately head to the locker rooms after the game so do NOT gather on the track or field. You will help keep activities longer by heading straight to your vehicles.
  • Junior high and elementary students are encouraged to stay in the stands to cheer on the Monarchs.

Concessions
  • The west concession stand will be open. They will serve popcorn, pop and boxed candies. There will not be concessions on the east side.

Band
  • The band will sit in the south bleachers separate from the home bleachers. This will allow for more space to distance. Their instruments will be masked.

Finally, please respect the administrators who are trying to enforce these requirements. Let's come cheer the team and support our students! GOD BLESS AND GO MONARCHS!!
Virtual Parent Back-2-School Night

This year, parents will be able to meet their children's teachers during a virtual Back-2-School Night.

We will share the links to the event the week of Sep. 8. Teachers will introduce themselves, share important information about their classes, and give out contact information.

Please know that you are always welcome to communicate with your child's teachers!
HS Activity Fair is Sep. 14

There are other ways to build social and leadership skills besides classes, sports, and fine arts. There are also a variety of clubs. The high school will have an activity fair on September 14 during House period. Students can learn more about these clubs:
Art Club
Astronomy Club
Book Club
Chess Team
Common Ground

Key Club
Religious Vocations

Encourage your student to find a club that interests them and sign up!

Boys Basketball Parents,

I know that in the not too far off future you will start looking for shoes for basketball.  Here is an option for you to be able to get some of the shoes that your sons may like at a much cheaper cost than in the store.  There is a shortage on supply this year for some of the shoe companies so I wanted to get this out to you early.
We are not connected to this group and we do not profit from these sales.  I just know how expensive shoes are these days and this could be a way to save some money.  We as the basketball program do not recommend or endorse any shoes.  We just ask that they be good solid shoes that are comfortable to wear.  We ask that the primary colors for the shoes be grey, black, white, or navy.
Thanks

Volunteers Needed!

To address the Covid issues, we have added an additional lunch shift this year and increased the number of volunteers to assist the cooks serving lunch this year. Therefore, we are sending this signup request to every family, versus just those who signed up on their stewardship form to help meet our needs. This link will cover August through December. Feel free to sign up as many times as you wish!  In addition, if you know of any friend, grandparent, etc. that might be interested in helping with this, please contact Sandy Losey in the Advancement Office or forward the link to them as well. All help is much appreciated!
