To Whom It May Concern:
Today, a case of COVID-19, the illness resulting from the novel coronavirus, has been diagnosed in an employee of Snyder Village. Snyder Village is supplying this written notification following directives issued by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
The staff member is in quarantine in his/her home. Snyder Village is notifying staff, residents, and residents’ next of kin/emergency contacts of the positive COVID-19 case. Every step is being taken as recommended by authorities to contain the spread. The safety and well-being of those in our care and those on our staff remain our top priority. Public Health will communicate with members of our community who may have come in contact with the employee who tested positive. We are closely monitoring residents for any symptoms and will continue to be vigilant in our prevention methods.
