Hello junior high families,

We wish to inform you that we had one member each of our JH volleyball and JH football teams test positive for Covid-19. 

For volleyball, her last day at practice was Monday, August 31. She did not make the trip to Scott City yesterday and was not at practice today.

For football, his last day at practice was Friday, Aug. 28. He has not been at school or practice since.

At this time we are not sure who may or may not be considered as a close contact to the positive cases. Therefore, we feel it is in the best interest of the team to cancel our volleyball and football games at Oakley tomorrow and practice on Friday.

We will reschedule team pictures for a later date.

Once we are able to further evaluate which members of the team may have been considered a close contact, if any, we will determine what actions are to take place. Team members can continue with in-person instruction at school. Please continue to strictly follow the health precautions in place.

If your son or daughter is showing any symptoms of Covid-19 please keep him or her at home and consult your health care provider.
