Kia Manawaroa is the web page and pānui for whānau Māori, that brings together information from the Ministry of Education and other education agencies, to support iwi and Māori audiences to increase their knowledge and therefore be given the opportunity to be more actively involved in supporting the learning of their tamariki.

He Poroporoaki: E tangi hotu ana te ngākau ki te manu tīoriori, a Keri Kaa nō Ngāti Porou

On August 1980, Keri Kaa and Amster Reedy led a rōpū through the streets of Wellington during Māori Language Week, to demand that Māori language have equal status with English. Seven years later Māori became an official language of New Zealand.
